About the Course
Every successful business started with someone who saw a problem and decided to solve it. Founder in the Making is an 8-weekend entrepreneurship program that teaches school students how to think, build, and pitch like a founder — by actually doing it. Structured like a mini-accelerator, every weekend you make something real: a customer interview, a business model, a prototype, a financial model, a pitch deck. By Pitch Day, you'll present a complete, tested venture concept — grounded, considered, and entirely your own.
You Will be Able to Know:
How to identify real problems worth solving through observation and structured customer interviews
How to generate, evaluate, and select the right business idea using proven frameworks
How to map out a complete business model using the Business Model Canvas
How to build and test a Minimum Viable Product — physical, digital, or service-based
How to price a product, calculate unit economics, and build a 3-month financial projection
How to design a First Customer Plan and create marketing content that actually reaches people
How to craft and deliver a compelling 5-minute venture pitch to a live panel
Prerequisites:
No business or commerce background required
An open mind and willingness to talk to real people (customer interviews are part of the course)
Basic familiarity with Google Sheets is helpful but not necessary
